Stan is the Area Representative for Always Best Care in Louisiana. Stan was born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
He attended pre-pharmacy at Louisiana State University, and earned his Pharmacy degree from the University of Louisiana in Monroe, Louisiana. He has practiced retail Pharmacy since graduation.
He was selected by Eckerd Drugs, a Fortune 500 Company, to become a Pharmacy Area Manager. Some of his responsibilities included assisting in site selection for new stores; opening stores within his area; training Pharmacists for the 25 stores in his area; and assisting Pharmacy Managers with developing their staff at each location. As Pharmacy Area Manager, he was responsible for developing the Pharmacists on a professional level, and coaching them on how to run a pharmacy in a profitable manner.
For those who indicated an interest in increasing their responsibility within the company, he helped in developing their skills and gave them the opportunity to display their skills and talents. He also helped develop programs to assist Pharmacists in developing their staffs, inventory control, work flow, and customer service.
He was instrumental in implementing pharmacy services to nursing homes and served as Pharmacist Consultant for a nursing home in Baton Rouge.
In his free time, Stan is a marathon runner, and enjoys fishing and spending time with his wife, Renee’ of 38 years, and his two grown sons and their families.
