Originally from Jamestown, New York, Mr. Dan Haglund attended Miami University (Ohio) and graduated in 1981 with a business communications degree. Upon graduation, he worked in the technical recruiting industry in Denver, Colorado for nine years. Dan’s experience included all facets of data processing and engineering search work.
Upon leaving Denver in 1999 and moving back to New York, he purchased an Adecco Personnel Service franchise in Erie, Pennsylvania. Adecco, the largest staffing company in the world, provided him with a great deal of experience in the world of high volume temporary help staffing. Dan expanded the business to New York with three offices. One of his greatest accomplishments while running the business was being awarded the exclusive staffing contract for Cummins Diesel Engine Company. His office, located in the middle of their engine manufacturing plant, employed 500 temporaries a day, seven days a week. This office was showcased by Adecco as a state of the art, high volume industrial based staffing office.
After selling the Adecco franchise back to our corporate office in 2000, Dan became intimately involved in various family companies that his father had developed. Their holding company owned an auto dealership, auto leasing, auto-parts stores, and convenient store/gas chain. After divesting of these holdings, he found himself searching for an opportunity to re-enter the temporary staffing industry. His focus was primarily health care related. Upon researching various companies, Always Best Care jumped to the head of the pack. In July, 2011 Dan went live in the market to start developing the Northern and Eastern part of Ohio. A large task at hand, he is looking forward to the challenge. He has two partners, Paul Carleton and Chris McKenna, who also assist in the direction and management of their Area Representative organization.
Beyond work, Dan has three wonderful children who are 15, 17 and 21. Their activities and interests keep him very busy. On the fun side, he loves to boat, ski and travel as much as possible.
